Bringing The Indian Luxury Spa Experience To Western Sydney

Why I Started Ayouveda

Marsden Park is home to a vibrant South Asian community, full of young families and rapid development. With the new Western Sydney Airport set to open just 20–30 minutes away, suburbs like Box Hill, Schofields, Tallawong, and Marsden Park are perfectly positioned to benefit from this exciting growth.

It's also a place close to my heart — a budding community where my family have lived for over five years. Now, as a mum myself, it feels even more important to be close to family. I actually grew up in Western Sydney, and moving back to Blacktown to be near my parents made me realise something: every mum deserves a little luxury. You shouldn’t have to live on the Northern Beaches or Byron Bay to experience the royal treatment — you deserve it right here in the West.

Over the years, I've visited luxury spas around the world, and honestly, I miss that level of experience here in Australia. What makes a luxury spa, you ask? For me, it’s the sensory immersion — the scents, the sounds, the textures. I still remember walking into spas in India and being wrapped up in the rich florals, sandalwood, and oud. It was instantly relaxing.

In Mumbai, I visited places like the JW Marriott or Grand Hyatt, and even little foot spas in Bandra that made me feel like I'd been living wrong my whole life. In London, I spent my birthday at Agua Spa, where a full-body scrub on a warm marble slab made me feel like I had transcended reality. And in Guangzhou, at the Shangri-La, I’ll never forget the soft red lights and the warm, comforting touches of the massage that lingered long after I left.

It’s not just about the treatments. It’s about the details — the sensory delights, the quality of products, the cleanliness, the seamless experience that makes you forget the world outside. Of course, we all want glowing skin and soft hair, but a true luxury spa experience transports you to a happy, peaceful place.

That’s the feeling I hope to recreate with Ayouveda.
See you there.
